Sarah & Neal’s New Years Eve Wedding at The Pointe in Louisville, KY
A love story rooted in faith, surrounded by family, and celebrated with joy
This was my very first New Year’s Eve wedding—and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful way to close out the year. ✨ From start to finish, the day overflowed with beauty, purpose, and so much heart.
I first met Sarah and Neal during their engagement session at the UK Arboretum. Even then, it was clear that these two share something really special—a quiet kind of closeness, full of sweetness, intentionality, and deep affection. The way they interacted, supported each other, and simply enjoyed being together made every image come alive. Soulmate energy, through and through.
Fast forward to their wedding day, and every detail reflected that same kind of intentional love. From the stunning decor to the sentimental keepsakes woven throughout the day, it was clear how much thought and heart went into every piece of the celebration. Faith was at the center of it all—something that was felt just as much as it was seen.
The wedding party? Absolutely incredible. These were the kinds of people who clearly show up not just in matching outfits, but in life. Every bridesmaid and groomsman was a true supporter and cheerleader, and that energy was so genuine and contagious. The same could be said of their families—so invested, so warm, and full of love for Sarah & Neal. And the friends who surrounded them? Involved, encouraging, and ready to celebrate the couple with full hearts and happy tears.
Now… I have to brag on the bride for just a second. Her organizational skills were next-level. 💫 Every vendor mentioned how thorough and thoughtful she was throughout the planning process—and I couldn’t agree more. I personally received a beautifully designed PDF with her timeline, shot list, and photo inspiration for each part of the day. Chef’s kiss. It made everything so smooth and allowed everyone to be fully present on the wedding day itself.
It was such a joy and honor to be part of this celebration—from the quiet, emotional moments to the early part of their New Year’s Eve reception. Even though I wrapped coverage before midnight, the joy and anticipation in the room made it clear the rest of the night was going to be unforgettable.
