Hi there!

I’m Kirstie (like “thirsty” with a K). I’m a published Kentucky photographer fueled by musicals, sunshine, laughter, and strong coffee.

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. It started in high school with a spot on the yearbook and newspaper staff—and once I was handed a camera, something just clicked. I was hooked. That quiet little title of “photographer” planted something in me that I’ve never been able to shake (and wouldn’t want to).

In 2016, I married the love of my life in a small backyard ceremony on a perfect September evening—just us, our people, and a whole lot of joy. That day changed me. It opened my eyes to how sacred these once-in-a-lifetime moments are—and how deeply I wanted to help others remember theirs, too.

In October of 2023, we welcomed our sweet baby girl into the world. Becoming a mom has been the most beautiful surprise—my greatest adventure yet. I’m endlessly inspired by how quickly life moves and how precious these ordinary, extraordinary days really are.

When I’m not behind the camera or connecting with clients, you’ll usually find me cozied up in a coffee shop with my laptop, singing in church, admiring flowers, snuggling our cats, making homemade candles, editing from the couch with my husband, or [mostly] marveling at this new season of motherhood.

I believe in the power of gratitude. I believe in solo dance parties and second cups of coffee. I believe that nature is healing, that joy is holy, and that God is in the details—especially the ones we often overlook. And I hold tightly to this truth: Faith in God includes faith in His timing.

If you connect with my work and think we’d vibe well together, let’s chat! I’d love to hear from you. ♡

My style, philosophy, and vision.

My style blends natural light and honest storytelling to create imagery that feels effortless yet powerful — a mix of real emotion, intentional beauty, and bold editorial flair.

As a full-time artist and photographer, I see my role as more than just taking beautiful photos. I’m here to be your biggest encourager, your steady presence, your storyteller. My heart is to help you feel confident, celebrated, and completely free to be yourself in front of the camera.

What began as a creative outlet over a decade ago slowly grew into a career rooted in purpose. After my family experienced the devastating loss of my brother in 2016, I felt God stirring something new in me—a calling to pour more of myself into the people I photograph. To slow down. To honor their lives with intention.

Life is far too short to rush past the beauty—and far too sacred not to pause and capture it. Whether it’s the quiet moments or the milestone celebrations, I believe we all deserve to exist in photographs—for ourselves and for those who love us.

I feel deeply blessed to do this work: to encourage others, to reflect the beauty I see in them, and to help preserve the legacy of the life they’re living. While capturing what we can along the way.
