This spring I was invited to fly down to Orlando, Florida to photograph some dear friends of mine for their 30th birthday. Looking back through our photos, I still feel like I stumbled into a fairytale!

I met Graham and Savannah both for the first time at the magistrate’s home office in Lexington for their ceremony. Present were the bride and groom, the magistrate, a neighbor who walked over to be one witness, and I was honored to be the other. It was precious, raw, and everything an intimate elopement should be.

I love getting to know my couples and incorporating things into their engagement sessions that speak to their unique personalities and interests.

During my consultation with Kyra + Erika, they shared with me that they enjoyed my moodier edits. When I began the drive towards the Red River Gorge for their elopement, I knew with all the mystical fog and rain that we wouldn’t have any problems capturing some wonderfully moody images that day.
